Results of Queensland Hillclimb Championship – 2018
The weather for the QHC was perfect Saturday and Sunday. There were a large number of spectators all eager to watch all the 77 competitors that had entered this event.
Sunday’s weather was a lot better than Saturday with sunny and 28 degrees, the battles on-track was fierce through all the class’s entered.
This Hillclimb had 2 rotary Hillclimb racing cars entered in 2 different classes.
Cameron Herman was running his RX7 in 2A Sports Cars (Closed) 2001cc & Over.
Cameron’s RX7 first run on Saturday was 51.67 sec then he reduced this time over the next 4 runs down to a 49.87 sec time on the last run of the day on Sunday. Well done good result Cameron.
Warwick Hutchinson in his (RPV03 – OMS28) entered Formula Libre – 2001cc & Over.
His first run on Saturday was 42.67 sec, he went faster on Sunday with his best time of 41.06 sec.
