There was 3 major incidents over the weekend, the first was Michael Ciccotelli in his Zip GP Superkart, spun over the finish line hitting the Armco he suffered 3 broken ribs and a punchered lung. Michael spent the night in hospital but is recovering well, we hope to see them both back for the 3nd round.

The second mishap was Pierz Harrex in his BMW E30, after braking the class record twice (Now the New Record is 44.82 sec), Pierz was trying to go for another record but ended up hitting the Nuts as he came off the 2nd loop. The car became airborne jumping over the nuts ending up against the retaining fence.  Pierz is OK but his beautiful E30 needs a bit of work, hope to see him back for round 3.

The third mishap was Barry Smith in his Ford V8 Special, Barry had the throttle jam open on the entry of the 2nd hoop and he ended up hitting the tire barriers. Barry is OK but his car needs a lot of repairs to get it ready for the next event. We hope that Barry gets all the repairs done in time.
