Christopher Sharman in his series 4 RX7 was competing with a new Turbo and improved from his first run on Saturday of 55.75 sec down to a 50.69 sec also on the last run of the day on Sunday. It was great to see Christopher back running his rotary and hope to see his times getting better.

Formula Libre – 1301cc & over

Darren Duffield was back running his RPV01 (13B Turbo) on Sunday after a long break. Darren has done a lot of modifying to the RPV01 during this time, fitting a new Renault UN5 gearbox and also adding a lot of aero modification with new side-pods and new rear wing etc. Darren did not run on the Saturday but posted a 56.95 sec run for his first run on Sunday. Darren had gear selection problems due to the new gearbox etc, but during his next run the rear brakes locked and spun him into the hairpin damaging the front wing. Hopefully we will see Darren back out at the Hillclimb soon.
