Hillclimb Results Round 5 – TSA & SR Automotive Hillclimb Series.

TSA & SR Automotive Hillclimb Series Mt Cotton – Round 5 (26th & 27th Sept. 2015)

This was the 5th round for the Hillclimb season for 2015, sponsored by TSA (Trenching Systems Australia) and SR Automotive (Stewart Reid Automotive). This was a 2 day event starting at 11.30 am on Saturday and finishing on Sunday afternoon. All the 90 competitors had a total of 7 official runs over the 2 days.

Saturday started off well but the rain added a damp track so not everyone ran all the official runs on Saturday.

Sunday saw good sunny conditions and a lot of records were broken, Paul Buccini in his BMW 135i broke his class record 3 times over the 2 days, and Chris Johns also broke his class record 3 times. Another record to fall was the outright record for closed/class by Dean Tighe reducing this to 37.94 sec.
